Pretty is one of the babies. She is the sister of Lamie and BooBoo, and cousin of Noddy and Capri. As you can see, she is a most glamorous girl – long, sleek black coat with a tiny white embellishment on her chest. She also has a small white bikini bottom on her lower belly, but she rarely lets anyone but those she loves most view it. More difficult to hide are the extra toes she sports on each front foot, looking at all as if she has thumbs.
Pretty is the most ‘intense’ of the babies, clearly absorbing her world through discriminating eyes.
Obituary
I helped Pretty pass on peacefully on Oct. 28, 2014, at the age of 19. In the weeks preceding her death, she had taken to sleeping on my chest at night and waking me with gentle licks on my hand. This was new behavior for her. In reflection, I believe she was making sure I knew she loved me before she passed. I knew, my beautiful Pretty girl, as I am sure you knew how much I loved you, too. Keep safe the piece of my heart that you took with you until we are reunited …
