Trades for irises not already grown are welcome. The following guidelines apply:
- To optimize postal costs, trades should include at least three rhizomes of different cultivars.
- Trades are on a rhizome-for-rhizome basis. For three rhizomes (same or different cultivars), one rhizome each from three different cultivars will be requested in return.
- Named irises should originate from reputable commercial iris sources; “mart” irises are not accepted.
- Due to challenging growing conditions, trades cannot be guaranteed immediately before plant digging.
- All trades must be completed, with rhizomes received, by the third week of July due to a short growing season.
The following is a list of highly desired irises for addition to the garden. Trades for these are especially welcome. However, interest extends to many other iris varieties as well. This list is not restrictive, any trade offers are encouraged. Please provide a complete trade list to explore possible exchanges.

Interest extends to expanding collections of Siberians, setosas, versicolors, miniature tall beardeds, broken color beardeds, and pre-1960 historic beardeds. As current collections of these varieties are limited, most irises within these categories will be considered for trade.
