Noddy is another of the babies, now fully mature and assuming his rightful place as the household Lion King. After all, who’s going to argue with a 19 lb. (and still growing) lunker with numerous extra toes and claws and the agility of a … cat? Not that he’s an aggressive beast. In fact, he’s quite the opposite.
Obituary
My benevolent Lion King, Noddy, was stricken with Feline Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma in 2012. What I assumed was a simple dental problem turned out to be anything but. On August 8, 2012, I helped my big boy leave his pain behind. Noddy’s commitment to life, to me, and to our Shadowood family was unshakable. His gentle demeanor, accepting nature, and forgiving heart made this family what it was and what it continues to be. The enormity of his body was matched only by his immense spirit, which continues to watch over us all.
